How To Add a New Host

Add Host to TEKControl
- Log in to the TEKControl portal on your PC: https://webapp.tekcontrol-site.com/
- Click Administration
- Click General Administration
- Click Host Settings
- Start typing the name of the host in the --Search— box (to verify they are not already in the system).
- If the Host is listed, you can just edit as needed.
- If the host is not listed, click the + Add New icon in the upper-right corner.
- Fill in at least the following:
- First Name
- Last Name

At least one phone number.
- If they want to be notified at the number or want this number listed in the directory, check the appropriate box.

Check Send Self-Registration
- This will automatically send the registration email for the host to sign up for the Visitor Management Portal.
- Click Save Host
Add Property to Host
- Go to the Properties tab.
- Start typing their address in the –Select a Property— field.
- Select the property address.
- Check the Primary Property box if this is the address where they reside.
- Click Add Existing Property
- Click Save Properties
- Continue adding properties if they have multiple properties.
- Start typing their secondary address in the –Select a Property— field.
- Select the property address.
- Do not check the Primary Property box.
- Click Add Existing Property.
- Click Save Properties.
- Start typing their secondary address in the –Select a Property— field.
- Select the Vehicles and Access Credentials tabs if you need to add this information.
- Click on the X in the upper right corner when complete.
This document provides step-by-step instructions for adding a new host in the TEKControl portal, including verifying existing hosts, adding new host details, and associating properties.

2. Log in to the TEKControl portal on your pc.
3. Click Administration
4. Click General Administration
5. Click Host Settings
6. Start typing the name of the host in the --Search— box (to verify they are not already in the system)
7. If the Host is listed, edit as needed.
8. If the host is not listed, click on the + Add New in the upper right corner.
9. Fill in at least the following:
- First Name
- Last Name
- At least one phone number.
- If they want to be notified at the number or want this number listed in the directory check the appropriate box.
- Check Send Self-Registration
- This will automatically send the registration email for the host to sign up for the Visitor Management Portal.
- Click Save Host
10. Go to the Properties tab.
11. Start typing their address in the –Select a Property— field.
- Select the property address.
- Check the Primary Property box if this is the address where they reside.
- Click Add Existing Property
- Click Save Properties
12. Continue adding properties if they have multiple properties.
- Start typing their secondary address in the –Select a Property— field.
- Select the property address
- Do not check the Primary Property box.
- Click Add Existing Property
- Click Save Properties
13. Select the Vehicles and Access Credentials tabs if you need to add this information. Remember to click save as you add new information in each tab.
14. Click on the X in the upper right corner when complete.
