1. Navigate to https://webapp.tekcontrol-site.com/
2. Click "Sign In" after filling in your user name and password.
3. Click "General Administration" under "Administration"
4. Click "Host Settings" to manage all the residents in the community.
5. There are various filter options to find residents to edit or view. After selecting an option from the dropdown for example
6. Type in the search field to narrow down your results
7. Double clicking on a row will pop open a resident to edit. You can also click the 3 dots action button in each row for more options per resident. Click the X to close the window.
8. Click "Visitor Management Settings" to manage all configuration options.
9. Click "Visitor Type" in the tab view
10. Here you can configure various visitor types your community might want to use.
By default we created standard options, Permanent and Temporary.
They can be adjusted or more can be added.
11. Click "Visitor Status"
12. Statuses are set for when visitors are scheduled, admitted upon arrival, denied, and departed.
We have created the default standard ones, and are used by most communities. However they can be adjusted as needed.
13. Click "Visitor Destination"
14. Various destinations in the community can be configured for visitors.
By default we add the "Host Address" as a destination. Others can be added, for example the club house, pro shop, dining, tennis, etc..
15. Click "Pass Type"
16. Pass types can be configured to limit certain subsets of visitors with different settings, durations, limitations, etc.
We've created the default "Visitor" type as a standard.
Pass types are associated with visitor types, which provides for more granular limitations as needed.
17. Click "Access Credentials"
18. In this window, you can manage all your current access credentials in the system, as well as add new ones as needed.
Various filtering and search options are available.
This guide shows administrators how to quickly find and edit residents, configure visitor types/statuses/destinations and set pass and access credential rules so your community’s access workflow matches operational needs. It saves time by explaining where each setting lives, what default options exist, and how to customize filters, visitor categories, and pass limits for more precise control.
