How To Add an Access Control Card Format for an Azure Controller

To add a card format, you can go to Card Formats in General Administration:


…Enter the name or type of credentials that will be using this FC (I added Standard) for these, then select Azure Access. Once selected, a new field will appear prompting Wiegand format type, and select Wiegand 26:


…Then enter the same FC number in both fields at the bottom. You can ignore the Select File option, as that does not apply for Azure controllers.

Once all information is entered, click Save Format; repeat as needed.


After adding the new formats to the system, you MUST send them to the controllers. NOTE: Be careful when doing so, as some of the options could reset the controller.

Click on System/Controllers:


Select the first controller, then scroll down to Configure Controller at the bottom:


Click on Send Card Formats, then click the X in the corner and repeat for ALL CONTROLLERS (scroll back up, select the next controller, send to it, etc.):
