How To Edit the Name of a Controller

1. Go to the Administration section, then General Administration, then go down to the System/Controllers section:
   
   
   
   
2. Select the controller you want to rename from the dropdown at the top, and then enter the new name in the Name field:
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Save” button, then click Cancel to close that panel
4. Next, go to the Interfaces section to the immediate right of the controllers section:
   
   
   
   
5. Select the controller you just renamed, and then select the interface for it:
   
   
   
   
6. Change the interface name to match the new controller name, then click “Save”.
7. The changes will show up immediately on the web portal, but the desktop app will need to be closed and then reopened to show up there.
