How To Add Mobile Credentials

When you have some time, do you mind going over how to issue the mobile credentials?

No problem, happy to help! I’ve included a few images of what needs to be set on the mobile credentials when adding them.

Basically, it’s just like adding any other credential, except you get to make up the credential number and don’t select a facility code/format. Additionally, these can only be assigned to hosts/residents, as the door is opened through the resident mobile app. The most important thing is to make sure you select Mobile Credential as the credential type.

Once assigned to a host, all they have to do is open the resident mobile app, hit the 3 lines in the top left to open the menu, then click on Mobile Credentials. The app will automatically search for nearby mobile readers and prompt for activation.
