How To Change a Username for a Host Account
A resident calls you and has a new email address, and they want to change their username for their property account to their new email address.
(This should not be done for a seller, move-out & buyer, move-in situation. Please see our documentation for that process.)
Go To:
Administration/General Administration/NEW Host Settings (BETA)
Pull up the host account you need to edit.
Click on the 3 dots and select: Delete User Login Account, and confirm.
Click on the 3 dots again and now select: Add User Login Account, and confirm.
Enter the new email address for the username and assign a temporary password. (We use Welcome1)
Select Submit.
Give your resident this information, and they can reset their password when they log in for the first time with the new username. All of their account activity will still be there.
