How To Change a Username for a Host Account
A resident calls you and has a new email address and they want to change their username for their property host account to their new email address.
(This should not be done for a seller, move-out & buyer, move-in situation. Please see our documentation for that process.)
Pull up the host account you need to edit. Scroll to the bottom and uncheck the "Enable user login?" box. Then "Save Host".
Pull the host account up again and scroll to the bottom and now check the "enable user login?" box. Then "Save Host". The screen below will pop up and you can enter the new email address and assign a temporary password. (We use Welcome1) Give your resident this information and they can reset their password when they log in the first time with the new username. All of their account activity will still be there.
