How To Add a Tenant to a Host Account

To add a tenant to the family tab, see the info below.

Giving a Tenant their own TEKControl Account for a property:
Log in and go to Administration/General Administration/Host Settings. 

Select the Host.

Select the Host Family tab.

Enter the person’s information (include at least an email or smartphone # no dashes), select Tenant under the relationship pull-down menu, and select Edit All Visitors (this will give them their visitor list to make and control).

Select Enable user login 

When you select Save Family Settings, you will be prompted to enter a username for the tenant (We suggest their email address) and choose a password. Provide the username and password to the tenant. They can then go to the portal and log in or download the app and log in. They will be prompted to change their password when they log in.
