1. Click "Administration".
2. Click "General Administration".
3. Click "Smart Tour Settings".
4. Click the "Post:" drop down.
5. Click "--Select Post--".
6. Click "West Tower".
7. Click "--Add New Tour--".
8. Click "Tour Name:" and "West Tower Patrol"
9. Update to "West Tower Patrol 1".
10. Click "Save Smart Tour".
11. Click here.

13. Click here.
14. Click "Tour Name:" and add "West Tower Patrol 2".
15. Check "Display Tour Tasklist Reporting?".
16. Check "RealTime Upload?".
17. Check "Checkpoint Location Tracking?".
18. Click "Save Smart Tour".
19. Now you have two West Tower Smart Tours. You will need to add your checkpoints.
This guide shows how to set up automated smart tours in TEKControl so you can schedule, name, and customize inspections with options and notifications. It walks you through accessing Smart Tour settings, saving a tour, and adding checkpoints or importing them. Follow it to streamline routine checks and enforce conditional inspection steps.
1. Click "Administration" - "General Administration" - "Smart Tour Settings".
2. Click the "Post:" drop-down and "--Select Post--".
3. Add a "Tour Name" and any applicable "Options" and/or "Notifications".
4. Click "Save Smart Tour".
5. You will need to add your "Checkpoints" and "Checkpoint Conditions". You also have an "Import" option.
