How To generate QR codes for guests

Sending a visitor an electronic/QR Code pass to scan at the Gatehouse.

Log into your TEKControl account and choose Add Visitor. Enter the visitor’s information, including either the visitor’s smartphone number (no dashes) or email address, or both. You also need to choose the visitor type. Then choose the save and send e-pass button. The software will send a link to the e-pass/QR Code to the visitor’s smartphone or email. 

Click on the green Add Visitor rectangle.

This sub-window will open, and you can add your visitor.

Your Visitor Lost their electronic/QR Code pass? Has the electronic/QR Code pass expired? Update and/or resend their QR Code to them.

Log into your TEKControl account and choose the left-hand Visitors button. Locate the visitor from the list. Select the three-dot icon to the righthand side of the visitor's name. Select Edit from the pop-up menu. Update the Schedule Date to the current date. Double-check that the visitor’s contact smartphone (no dashes), and email are correct. Review the selected Type. Then choose the save and send e-pass button. The software will send a link to the e-pass/QR Code to the visitor’s smartphone or email.
