How To add a new host/resident
- Log into the TEKControl portal on your PC
- Click Administration
- Click General Administration
- Click Host Settings
- Start typing the name of the host in the --Add New Host— section (to verify they are not already listed)
- If the Host is listed select them from the dropdown and edit as needed
- If the host is not listed, add:

- First Name
- Last Name
- Select Type from the drop-down
- At least one phone number

- If they want to be notified at the number or want this number listed in the directory check the appropriate box

- Check Send Self Registration

- This will automatically send the registration email for the host to signup for the Visitor Management Portal

- Click Save Host
- Go back to the –Add New Host—and start typing the new resident's name
- Select the new resident from the drop-down, by clicking their name
- Click the Properties tab
- Start typing their address in the –Select a Property—field

- Select the property address
- Check Primary Property if this is the primary address
- Click Add Property
- Click Save Properties
